Medicine Hat, AB – As summer draws to a close, the following washrooms and facilities will be winterized and closed as of Oct. 10, 2023:
- Saamis Rotary Park washroom
- Police Point West washroom
- Ross Glen Park washroom
- Kiwanis Central Park washroom and shelter
- Kitchenette and shelter in Kin Coulee Park
- Band shelter in Kin Coulee Park
- Skateboard Park in Kin Coulee
- Kin Coulee West washroom
- Lions Park washroom
- Echo Dale Regional Park campground washroom
The following washrooms will remain open throughout the winter months:
- Police Point Park washroom
- Strathcona Island Park washroom (Note: This will be closed once the weather gets cold to avoid freezing lines. Portable toilets will be installed.)
- Toboggan Hill washroom and shelter
- Southview Community Park washroom
- Strathcona Island Park boat launch washroom
- Echo Dale Regional Park – AJAX building and park washroom
- Veiner Centre washroom (Note: the winter hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
**Note: **The water tap at Saratoga dog park will also be turned off as of Oct. 6, 2023, to prevent the line freezing.
